Your Budget Shopping Guide

Hello fellow shoppers, my name is Kara Lyons and you've arrived at my shopping blog. Make no mistake, I absolutely love to shop and when I'm not working I'm in the city shopping at my favorite stores. Since I shop often, I've learned how to spot the best bargains and I also know the best times to buy certain items. I hardly ever pay full price for anything I buy and I always take advantage of in store coupons and promotions. My love of shopping began when I was little and I would tag along behind my mom while she shopped. When I got old enough to shop for myself, I began to discover ways to get more for my money. If you also enjoy shopping, but you're on a budget, read my blog to learn how you can get the things you want and need without breaking the bank.

Getting A Loan And Shopping At A Pawn Shop Could Solve Your Father's Day Gift Dilemma

by Rebecca Simmons

Have you considered the fact that Father's Day comes at a time when you might have already had a lot of expenses? Perhaps you have to buy numerous graduation gifts. More than likely, you will have already spent money on a Mother's Day present. And, you may have set aside money for your family's summer vacation. No matter what the reason is, if you are shopping for a Father's Day gift while on a tight budget, from getting a short-term loan at a pawn shop to shopping for a unique gift at the very same place, here are some ideas that might help you to get a great gift for the great man who raised you.

A Pawn Shop Loan - Have you ever thought of getting a short-term loan at a pawn shop like Rocky  Mountain Pawn? Think of items of value that you already own that you are willing to part with, even for a short period of time. Say you received a fine watch from your grandparents for a special occasion. You might have been disappointed with the gift, knowing that you already had a watch you liked a lot. Maybe your grandparents are deceased now and you feel free to sell the watch they gave you. You might be surprised at the amount of money you can get when you pawn that watch. On the other hand, maybe you want to keep the watch for sentimental reasons or because you know you will use it at a later date. In that case, you will still have the money you got when you pawned the watch to spend on a Father's Day gift, and you then can redeem the watch during a given period of time. Remember to keep all paperwork from your pawn shop loan.

A Pawn Shop Gift - Have you ever shopped at a pawn shop before? Talk about good deals! Consider using the money you received from the item you pawned and use it to buy a gift to give to your dad on Father's Day. Let's say that your father loves to listen to music from his past. At a pawn shop, you may be able to buy a turntable and vinyl records of your dad's favorite artists. For example, if your dad is older, he might love it if you bought music from groups like The Kingston Trio or The Mamas and the Papas. Has your dad talked about learning how to play a musical instrument, say the guitar? At the pawn shop, you might even be able to find a great guitar at a great price. If your dad loves to golf, at the pawn shop you might be lucky enough to find an excellent golf club to add to his collection. You can more than likely even find assorted hand tools to give your father if he is a handyman. Just take the time to browse and you might be inspired to select a gift you never even considered buying.
