Your Budget Shopping Guide

Hello fellow shoppers, my name is Kara Lyons and you've arrived at my shopping blog. Make no mistake, I absolutely love to shop and when I'm not working I'm in the city shopping at my favorite stores. Since I shop often, I've learned how to spot the best bargains and I also know the best times to buy certain items. I hardly ever pay full price for anything I buy and I always take advantage of in store coupons and promotions. My love of shopping began when I was little and I would tag along behind my mom while she shopped. When I got old enough to shop for myself, I began to discover ways to get more for my money. If you also enjoy shopping, but you're on a budget, read my blog to learn how you can get the things you want and need without breaking the bank.

3 Types of Fridge Magnets That Your Children Will Find Funny

by Rebecca Simmons

Shopping for funny fridge magnets can present you with countless products that make you smile or belly laugh, but you might also be quick to admit that some of these magnets aren't appropriate if you have children in your home. Many humorous fridge magnets poke make use of adult humor, and while you and your friends might get a kick out of these magnets when you're hanging out in the kitchen before a dinner party, you might also be less than thrilled if your child who has just started to read begins to quote one of the off-color magnets' slogans. Fortunately, there are a number of fridge magnets that are funny and suitable for children, including these choices.

Emoji Magnets

While adults use emojis frequently in text messages and social media posts as a tool for conveying feelings, children are often delighted to simply see these cartoonish images. A lot of children legitimately find emojis to be funny, whether it's a face with googly eyes, an upside-down face, or a face with its tongue sticking out. And, of course, the famous "poop emoji" is a favorite of many children. If you buy a set of emoji magnets for your fridge, you can count on your children having plenty of laughs.

Food Magnets

You can also buy fridge magnets that are shaped like a variety of food products — including everything from meat products to fruits and vegetables to desserts. While adults might find these magnets enjoyable more than downright funny, there's a good chance that food-themed magnets will delight your children. They'll likely have plenty of laughs putting the magnets in different groupings on the fridge, including some silly combinations — putting ice cream on a salad, for example — that amuse them to no end.

3-D Animal Magnets

Another product to consider buying for your children's amusement is a set of 3-D animal magnets. Unlike conventional fridge magnets, which are slim, these magnets will stick out considerably from the surface of the appliance. Generally, these magnets depict the rear end of an animal — something that your children will likely find funny on its own. However, the real humor in using these magnets is that your children will likely concoct creative stories about the animals. For example, a child might tell you how a hippopotamus was so hungry that it buried its head into the fridge door to eat some food inside.
