Your Budget Shopping Guide

Hello fellow shoppers, my name is Kara Lyons and you've arrived at my shopping blog. Make no mistake, I absolutely love to shop and when I'm not working I'm in the city shopping at my favorite stores. Since I shop often, I've learned how to spot the best bargains and I also know the best times to buy certain items. I hardly ever pay full price for anything I buy and I always take advantage of in store coupons and promotions. My love of shopping began when I was little and I would tag along behind my mom while she shopped. When I got old enough to shop for myself, I began to discover ways to get more for my money. If you also enjoy shopping, but you're on a budget, read my blog to learn how you can get the things you want and need without breaking the bank.

Three Dog Mom Hat Designs to Consider

by Rebecca Simmons

If you're a proud dog owner and you aren't hesitant to tell others that you view your pet as your child, you might sometimes jokingly refer to yourself as a dog mom. This term can be catchy, and it can be fun to shop for items that display this term. You'll have no shortage of options, including bumper stickers, mugs, and more. If you want to wear something that features this term, a hat can be a good choice. You can wear it to the dog park on sunny days and when you're walking your pet around the block in the rain. Here are three dog mom hat designs that may catch your eye.

Distressed Style

Distressed apparel is a popular choice among many people, and you'll certainly find a number of different dog mom hats that feature this look. The badge with the wording might appear frayed around the edges, or the brim of the hat could be slightly torn in one or more areas. Some distressed hats also have faded areas, giving them the appearance of something that you've worn for years, even if it's new. The distressed look can be humorous because some dogs enjoy chewing clothing and various accessories, so you can joke with people at the dog park that the distressed look of your new hat is thankfully not a result of your dog chewing it.

Dog-Specific Wording

There are lots of advantages of buying a hat that simply reads "dog mom" across the front, but you may be interested in buying something more specific. If you're partial to a certain breed of animal, likely because your pet is this breed, you can often find hats that share this information. A hat that says "golden retriever mom" or "poodle mom" can be a fun choice because it directly relates to the breed of your pet.

Paw Print Image

While a lot of hats of this nature feature only wording, there are other designs that have images. A common image for this type of hat is a paw print, which people will see and immediately identify with a dog. You might find a hat that features the dog mom wording inside of a large paw print shape. In other designs, the paw print takes the place of a letter. For example, the word "dog" might be stylized to feature the paw print instead of the letter "o."

Look for a dog mom hat from an online retailer, such as My Dear Bongo, that specializes in pet-related apparel.
